Recently, our company has provided a multi-channel wind speed measurement solution to a core enterprise under CRRC Corporation Limited. The solution includes the JT6061 multi-channel acquisition instrument and JT1411 high-precision wind speed sensor. Equipped with Bluetooth wireless transmission and real-time monitoring via mobile APP, it realizes refined collection and analysis of wind speed and air volume of train air conditioning systems, injecting new momentum into the optimization of the in-vehicle environment and energy consumption control for rail transit vehicles.

As the core equipment ensuring passenger travel comfort, the train air conditioning system relies on stable control of wind speed and air volume to directly affect the indoor temperature balance and air quality inside carriages, and it also serves as a key indicator determining the energy efficiency of the air conditioning system. Industry data shows that the energy consumption of air conditioning systems accounts for 40%-60% of the total energy consumption of train auxiliary systems. Accurate grasp of operating parameters is an important prerequisite for energy conservation, consumption reduction and service upgrading. The solution adopted by CRRC targets and solves industry pain points of traditional measuring equipment, including difficult layout in narrow spaces, delayed data transmission, and insufficient accuracy of multi-point synchronous collection.

As the core component of this solution, the JT1411 high-precision omnidirectional wind speed sensor delivers excellent adaptability. A member of Jiantong Technology’s JT1400 series, it features a micro packaged structure with a maximum dimension of less than 7mm, enabling flexible embedding into narrow spaces such as train air conditioning ducts and carriage interiors. Its 360° omnidirectional testing design can accurately capture subtle random fluctuations in airflow direction. Boasting an ultra-high resolution of 0.01m/s and a fast response time of 0.2 seconds, combined with dual temperature compensation technology, it maintains a measurement accuracy of ±(0.1+2% reading) within a wide temperature range from -25℃ to 70℃, fully meeting the detection requirements under complex operating conditions of trains.

The supporting JT6061 multi-channel acquisition instrument acts as an efficient data convergence hub. A single unit can connect up to 8 wind speed probes simultaneously and support cascaded connection of multiple devices to expand channel capacity, enabling multi-point synchronous data collection for train air conditioning systems and breaking the measurement limitations of traditional single-channel equipment. Notably, the entire system is innovatively integrated with a Bluetooth wireless transmission module, eliminating the cumbersome wiring of traditional wired connections. Measurement data can be transmitted in real time to a dedicated mobile APP, allowing staff to remotely view, record and analyze data without equipment disassembly, greatly improving the efficiency of operation, maintenance and inspection.

With this intelligent measuring device, the distribution rules of wind speed and air volume of train air conditioners under different operating states can be accurately mastered, providing data support for air duct optimization and iteration of intelligent air volume regulation algorithms for air conditioning systems, thereby achieving the dual goals of energy consumption reduction and comfort improvement. Meanwhile, real-time monitoring data can also serve as a basis for early fault warning of air conditioning systems, facilitating the shift from passive maintenance to active predictive maintenance and cutting operational and maintenance costs.
