Heliodon: Precision Sunlight Simulation Tool for Architects
The study of sunlight is extremely important in architectural design and teaching. The height angle and azimuth angle of buildings relative to the sun will have completely different lighting and energy-saving effects. The JTG-S6 intelligent building sunlight tester is a professional tester developed based on the above requirements. This testing instrument can be used to draw bar shadow maps and place a scaled model of a building on the instrument measurement platform. Through the model, the shadow changes of a building at a certain time and place, the indoor sunshine time, sunshine area, and the shading of the sun visor can be directly observed. It can also be used to observe the relationship and mutual influence between the orientation and spacing of buildings.
relationship between the orientation and spacing of the building and their mutual influence.
Compared with the traditional manual three-parameter heliometer, this test instrument has realized full automatic system. The test parameters are set by the supporting software, and the built-in motor automatically and accurately positions. The single-point test can be realized by determining the solar altitude angle and azimuth angle through longitude and latitude and time, and the dynamic test of the continuous change of solar altitude angle and azimuth angle can also be simulated. JTG-S6 is equipped with an illuminance sensor, which can automatically collect illuminance distribution and analyze lighting characteristics through software. At the same time, it can also be combined with digital imaging technology to collect and analyze the video of the building model.
